When she was seven, Rebecca found a snake.

Truth Begets Lies
He was quiet and unassuming and spoke entreatingly.
The clothes he wore were of a quiet nature, old and plain but lacking the grime that so often accompanies those who have known the greater challenges of living.
His face was wrinkled but not, I think, by the passage of time.
